I'm in tonight but so far TruePoker has not impressed me at all. Between the time getting screwed up week 1 to the tournament not starting on time this week to forcing me to leave a juicy NL game to join a tournament that hasn't started yet to the standings not being posted...these guys are starting to seem like JV.
I'm not into conspiracies but damn I have never seen so many bad beats and quads in such a short period of time.
Anyway...I'm at the final table. A few notable hands to this point:
1) Sucked out with KK all in preflop against AA and toss in a QQ there too. That was within the first 20 hands of the tourn.
2) Also lost a HUGE pot (3000-4000) midway (probably chip leader at the time) when I called UTG with AJo (J of diamonds) and approx 4-5 other people called. Flop comes TQT with 2 diamonds. I semi-bluff at it with a smallish bet hoping to drag it right there or at worst expose a T or catch a K at the turn. Two people smooth call. I think ok...1 T out there and maybe a Q or flush draw. Turn comes wonderful K of clubs and I make a decent sized bet...both players call and no raise. I think "damn that T is being patient...boat maybe?" River comes no help for anyone and I bet. Player raises all in. Player folds and it is only another few hundred to me. I call and am shown quad Ts.
AWESOME slow play but what on earth was he thinking preflop in late position and a bunch of callers in front of him. He just called instead of raising and getting folks out to protect his Ts. Ts are not that great and they are worse when there are 6-7 people in preflop.
Anyway...I was down to about a thousand and worked my way up to the point where I WAS chip leader at the final table. I'm now 2nd with 8 players left.
Only Rxers sited were woodyo and kiss1 (who witnessed number 2).
